Who this covers

This policy covers the website at alter-sync.com and its staging addresses, operated by Alter-Sync LLC of Birmingham, AL. It does not cover the Alter-Sync application that shops log in to. That application has its own terms and privacy arrangements, provided to customers when they sign up.

What this website collects

The website has no accounts, no forms that store data, and no comment or chat features. When you choose to email or call us using the links on the site, you send that message from your own email program or phone, and we receive whatever you choose to include: typically your name, your shop's name, and how to reach you. We use it to reply to you and, if you ask for a walkthrough, to arrange it.

Like every website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and understand aggregate traffic. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics measures public website visits only after you accept analytics cookies. It helps us understand page views, traffic sources, and phone or email link clicks. Those clicks show interest, not a completed booking.

We do not send form contents, email addresses, phone numbers, URL query strings, or private application activity to Google Analytics. Advertising features and automatic interaction tracking are turned off.

Screens of the Alter-Sync application shown on this website are captured from a demonstration account populated only with fictional records. Names, orders, and measurements in them do not belong to real people.

How long we keep messages

Emails and call notes are kept as long as we are in conversation with you about Alter-Sync, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Ask us at any time to delete what we hold about you and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Children

This website is for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
